Matt Crowley is a comedian, writer, and occasional actor living in Los Angeles. He is a contributor to The Onion, The A.V. Club, and Splitsider. He has also written for McSweeney's Internet Tendency, CollegeHumor, The Daily Dot, The Hairpin, The Billfold, Trop, HyperVocal, Fanzine, and neutrons protons. His short comedies for the stage have been produced over 50 times in 11 states. His full length "Dear Deirdre" premiered at Dixon Place and was produced by Calliope Theatre Company at The Drilling Company (NYC) in 2014. His new play "Losers" will be produced by Nylon Fusion Collective in 2016 (NYC).
Matt has performed in web sketches for comedy duo Good Cop Great Cop. He starred in the 6-episode web series "Threesome" for MeUndies.com in 2015. He also co-created and stars in the upcoming web series "Tru$t Worthy." Onstage, he's acted in "Eye Made Quiet" and "Six Windows Presents: A Hero Of Our Time" (Calliope), "Steve Bartman's Quixotic Ideal" and "Independence" (Hearth Gods), "Zarps!" (The Brick), and "Loveplay" (Cloud City).
Matt is an associate producer for TinyRhino LA, an artistic associate with Calliope Theatre Company, and an ensemble member of Nylon Fusion. He is a graduate of UCB's core improv and sketch programs.
